The world as we know it has changed. On the turn of the millenium, creatures of all kinds came out of hibernation. Demons, vampyres, faeries, the works. Some were benevolent... others not so much. The government is denying everything, and the majority of the people remain in ignorance or denial.
But some have known it to be true since before the turn of the millenium. They knew of the dangers that lurked beneath the surface of the Earth, and even of the creatures that had intergrated themselves into human society. They are called the Knights of the Earth. They have been preparing. They have been training their minds and their bodies for the fight they know will be inevitable. Now, they're focusing their efforts on informing the world, gathering followers. They call the creatures scum. The creatures call themselves the Children of the Old Worlds.
The day when a full-scale war breaks out approaches steadily.
